White Bridge Investments II acquires Delta Med from Augens Capital, aiming at supporting the company’s growth and consolidation in the medical devices market
Milan (Italy). October 11th, 2021 – White Bridge Investments II S.p.A. (“White Bridge”) completed the acquisition of Delta Med, a leading company in the vascular access market, from Augens Capital and the firm’s management.
Delta Med, which operates in its Viadana, Brescello and Sondrio facilities, developed in recent years under Augens Capital’s control, through the consolidation of certain companies active in the central and peripheral vascular access market, including safety and closed systems, urodynamics and dialysis products and procedural kits for operating room.
The transaction is aimed at supporting the company’s future growth trajectory and creating an investment platform to further pursue an aggregation and consolidation process in the medical devices industry, both in Italy and Europe.
White Bridge believes that Delta Med and its subsidiaries, Tipromed and BEL, represent a leading company in the Italian landscape, and that, thanks to the strong specialization and know-how developed over time, it will be able to further strengthen its positioning within the medical devices market.
Augens Capital, which acquired the company in 2015, and the managers of Delta Med will reinvest in the firm alongside White Bridge.
The transaction has been financed by Banco BPM and Credit Agricole, who have been supported by Riccardo Rossi, Giulia Lamon and Matteo Venuti of Studio Chiomenti.
